costume_spangles@hotmail.co.ukI am currently studying at Queen Margaret University, in my fourth and final year of a BA(hons) in Costume Design and Construction. When not at university (outside of term time) I live near Preston in Lancashire.
Costume is my passion and I enjoy both designing and making costumes. As part of my university course and various voluntary work I have done, I have gained experience in a wide variety of settings within costume and enjoyed each of them. Aside from costume I have always fascinated by the way people lived their daily life in different periods of history, so I am also interested in living history and ways of using theatre and costume to educate and involve people.
This journal has been set up partly for my own personal use as a way of recording work and projects I take on, but also as a place for people interested in my work or visiting my website to find out what I am currently working on.
The CSS code used in my jounal's layout was made by the very talented
causefire, it is used with their permission (and a lot of tweaking by me).
The header image at the top of my page is one of my own drawings.
